Rushing ahead on the first train, I found comfort in Tottori and Shimane being the countryside just as I imagined【30】
Day 11【2014/9/3】
Wakayama→Osaka→Hyogo→Okayama→Tottori→Shimane
I left the manga cafe at 4:30 in the morning. It was a 6-hour pack, so I had no choice but to leave this early.
Since there was time until the first train, I killed time at a nearby beach.
The early morning Pacific Ocean viewed from the Kii Peninsula was calm and beautiful.
I headed to Wakayama Station on the first train.
I bought breakfast at a convenience store and strolled around the station area.
There were few people around, but it was reasonably prosperous, feeling like a solid regional city.
I disembarked at Himeji Station next, via Osaka from Wakayama.
The station was stylish. The station and the town were in perfect harmony.
From the front of the station, I could see the Himeji Castle under construction far away.
Next, I headed to Okayama Station.
I discovered a water channel a few minutes walk from the station. The nature in the city was comforting, making me want to relax.
From Okayama to Niimi Station.
From Niimi to Yonago Station.
YONAGO STATION
There were many taverns around the station , and many pear products were available in the shops.
Despite it being before 7 in the evening, the station shops were already closed.
I arrived at Matsue Station before 8 pm.
I was tired from nearly 10 hours of travel on this day, so I ate a large set meal at Ootoya near the station. I stayed overnight at a manga cafe called Dorothy to prepare for the next day.
Stations stopped at: Kii-Tanabe→Wakayama→Osaka→Himeji→Aioi→Okayama→Niimi→Yonago→Matsue
