Strolling through Kyoto Imperial Palace while admiring the blossoming cherry blossoms 2020/3/21【72】
Day 4 in Kyoto
Fourth day of sightseeing in Kyoto.
That day, I walked to the Kyoto Imperial Palace from the morning.

Entering from the Karasuma side into the palace grounds, a vast park spread out before me.

Under the clear sky, surrounded by trees, many people were walking around.

Although it was mid-March, the cherry blossoms had started to bloom.

Walking along the gravel path, I arrived at the Kyoto Imperial Palace.

I leisurely toured the buildings, which were used as the imperial residence until the second year of the Meiji era, while also enjoying the cherry blossoms.

After seeing everything, I headed south back the way I came to a lunch spot.
I enjoyed two types of curry and homemade vegetable juice at "Spice Curry Kamal."

Having walked quite a bit since the morning, I devoured everything.
After lunch, I took a coffee break at a newly opened Starbucks.

Starbucks in Kyoto always have stylish buildings.
In the afternoon, I aimlessly wandered around Kawaramachi.

As it started to get dark, I passed through Pontocho and returned to the hotel.

Pontocho had been one of the places I wanted to visit ever since reading "The Night is Short, Walk on Girl."
