Pub Crawling and Late Night Gaming in Dublin, November 2023【101】
Took a day off on Friday and went on a 2-night, 3-day trip to Dublin from London.

It was about a one-hour flight from Gatwick Airport to Dublin.
Upon arriving at the airport, the first thing I did was purchase a Leap Card, which is used for trams and buses.

We bought a tourist card that allowed unlimited rides for three days.
The express bus to the city center required an additional fee.
Unusually for this season, Dublin was sunny.

Took a walk around the city and headed for lunch.
We stopped at a restaurant called The Seafood Cafe and started off with a Guinness.

We enjoyed a course of fish soup and squid ink risotto.

Both were exquisitely prepared and delicious.
After lunch, we met up with another person who arrived late and toured the city.

Trinity College Dublin

St Stephen's Green

Molly Malone Statue

Dublin Castle

Christ Church Cathedral

After a considerable amount of walking, we stopped at a PUB for a drink.

As night fell, we headed to the home of a senior's friend.

We were treated to dinner and played FIFA games while drinking beer and whiskey until the day changed.

Woke up around 9 AM and left the hotel around 10 AM.

Joined the seniors who stayed at a friend's house and planned to head to a tourist spot, but the bus didn't come.
Eventually, we took a taxi.
Went for a hike along the cliffs by the sea in Howth.

There were clouds, but no rain, and the weather was pleasant.
We walked down a narrow path along the cliff, overlooking the sea.

After descending the cliff and feeling hungry, we stopped at a restaurant for lunch.

I didn't take photos, but we had fish and chips, calamari, scallops with Guinness.
For dessert, we had crème brûlée and lemon tart with coffee.
Returned to the city by train and went straight to a large PUB.
Watched Arsenal and Manchester United matches on a big screen.

Enjoyed two pints of Guinness while eating nachos and chips.
Had dinner at the senior's friend's house again and played FIFA until around 10 PM.
Since it was our last night in Dublin, we went out for a pub crawl.

I don't remember very well, but I think we went bar hopping at three pubs until about 2 AM.

The next morning, woke up around 10 AM and left the hotel just in time for checkout at around 11 AM.
Bought coffee at a cafe while waiting for the bus.

Headed to the friend's house for the third consecutive day, had lunch, and then went to the airport.

Killed time at the airport watching a Liverpool match, bought some souvenirs, and then returned to London.

This trip was more about drinking than sightseeing.
I hope to return the favor to the kind friend couple in London or Japan.
