2023/12/28 Kraków → Warsaw
Woke up at 9 am and had breakfast at a cafe.
American coffee and warm apple pie.
It was a hidden gem of a cafe with a great atmosphere.
Spent my final day in Kraków walking around the city.
Received an apple when I checked out of the hotel.
Took the apple with me to the Central Station.
Traveled to Warsaw by train, a journey of about 3 hours.
After checking into the hotel, went out to explore the city.
Palace of Culture and Science
Felt hungry, so grabbed a hot dog from a convenience store.
The square still had the Christmas atmosphere.
The Old Town was beautiful and full of tourists.
Felt a bit under the weather that day, so I returned to the hotel and went to bed early.
2023/12/29 Warsaw
The morning of my second day in Warsaw.
Had breakfast at the hotel buffet.
Felt a bit under the weather, so I rested at the hotel until around noon and then took a bus to Łazienki Park.
Enjoyed a walk amidst nature.
The Chopin Statue
The park is dotted with various buildings and statues, making it fun to explore and discover new things.
There was construction around the park, and Google Maps was not functioning properly.
Took a bus back to the city center from Łazienki Park.
Visited the Holy Cross Church, where Chopin's heart rests in a pillar.
The Barbican
Christmas markets were still being held in a few places.
Tired, I had a Zapiekanka and then returned to the hotel.
Warsaw is much larger compared to Kraków and Wrocław, and I was quite tired from all the walking.
