May in Denmark
In early May, I traveled from London to Denmark during a three-day weekend, which included a UK holiday.

The day after returning from a business trip to Germany, I flew from London to Denmark.
I bought a train ticket at Copenhagen Airport and headed to the hotel first.

The nearest station is called Amager Strand.

After dropping off my luggage at the hotel, I explored the nearby area.

I bought a cinnamon bun at the supermarket.

I walked along the seaside while eating the bun.

Since I arrived in Denmark in the evening and didn't have much time, I had dinner at the hotel and went to bed early.

The morning of the second day.

I took a train to the city center.
Coffee Collective Bernikow

I had breakfast at a stylish café.

After breakfast, I took the train again for sightseeing.
The Little Mermaid statue

Although it is known as one of the "Three Great Disappointments of the World," there were many tourists.

I walked along the seaside back to the city center.

Nyhavn

A famous tourist spot, and everywhere you look, it's very beautiful.
On this day, the Copenhagen Marathon was held, and runners were running around the city.

Tired from walking, I took a break at a café.

It was a hidden café where you could drink coffee while overlooking the scenery.

I walked again, exploring Tivoli Gardens and the city center.

For lunch, I had a salmon sandwich at a stylish restaurant.

It was packed with ingredients in naan-like bread. (Danish style?)
I returned to the hotel, did a light workout, and then went out again.
I had a hamburger and lemonade at a burger shop called Gasoline Grill.

The buns were sweet and delicious.

There were some clear skies on the second day, and the weather was not bad.

Final day
I had breakfast at a café near the hotel.

Coffee and a Danish pastry.

Danish pastries originate from Denmark.
After breakfast, I packed my bags and headed out.

I took a train north through Denmark to Helsingør.
Kronborg Castle (Kronborg Slot) is located in Elsinore, Denmark. It was built in the 16th century by Frederick II and Christian IV in the Renaissance style. Facing the Øresund Strait, it served as an important point for collecting tolls. Historically, it played a strategic role in the Northern Wars and the Danish-Swedish Wars and is now registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The castle features luxurious ballrooms and great halls and is famous as the setting of Shakespeare's play "Hamlet." Currently, it is open to the public as a museum, showcasing Denmark's history and culture. Its beautiful architecture and rich history make it an important cultural property attracting many tourists.

You can get a panoramic view of the town from the top of the tower.

After touring the castle, I wandered around the town before heading back to Copenhagen.

Lunch back in Copenhagen.

Bought some souvenirs at the supermarket and drugstore.

Thus ended my whirlwind trip to Denmark.
Having traveled to Sweden, Norway, Finland, and now Denmark, I have visited all the Nordic countries.
Every country was beautiful, safe, and had delicious food, though prices felt higher compared to other parts of Europe.
