Visited the sauna on a Sunday in October, when the air started to feel chilly.
The previous Saturday recorded a high temperature of 30°C, unusually hot for October.
On Sunday, the temperature dropped sharply, with a high of around 20°C.
In the morning, I went to the gym, and after enjoying a coffee at a café in the afternoon, I headed to the sauna.
The sauna visit this day was to TOTOPA, which opened on March 22, 2024.

Located in Meiji Park, the facility is surrounded by cafes and restaurants, and it seemed to attract many families and young people.
I arrived at the facility around 3 PM, received a brief explanation of how to use it, and quickly entered.
After changing clothes, I took my locker wristband and headed to the bath.
There are two washing stations at the entrance and four more inside.
After thoroughly cleaning myself, I first entered the "Right Room" sauna.

This sauna has seven simple private rooms, allowing you to immerse yourself in your own world.
The warm lighting and rounded interior seem to stimulate the right brain.
The temperature is a bit lower, but it warmed me up gently, like in a stone sauna.
After spending about 10 minutes in the Right Room, I rinsed off and entered the cold bath.
There are two cold baths, and I first tried the seated type.
The temperature was about 15°C, I think?
After exiting the cold bath, I relaxed in the bath lounge.
There are more than 10 chairs available, and there's always one open.
The first set was more of an exploration, so I didn’t quite achieve full relaxation, but I was looking forward to the second set.
Next, I went to the "Left Room" sauna.

Immediately upon entering, I felt that this sauna was unlike anything I’d experienced before.
The blue lighting and linear design are said to stimulate the left brain.
The temperature is higher, and the auto löyly (steam) was very effective.
After about 10 minutes, I rinsed off and entered the deep cold bath.

This is a standing cold bath.
The temperature is around 10°C.
After the freezing cold bath, I headed to the open-air lounge.

In this area, you can relax while being exposed to the fresh air.
As I dozed off, I occasionally heard the voices of children from the park.
After finishing the second set, I hydrated in the refreshment lounge.
Water is available, as well as a soft drink bar and non-alcoholic beer.
I replenished my energy with a mix of Dekavita and Dakara drinks.
For the third set, I entered the "Na Room" sauna.

This is a sauna where conversation is allowed.
It has a lively atmosphere, with pop music playing, and the concept seems to be about socializing with others.
The temperature is somewhere between the Ushitsu and Sasitsu rooms.
After about 10 minutes, I rinsed off and returned to the deep cold bath.
Then I went to the open-air lounge.
After hydrating, it was time for the final set.
After some deliberation, I decided to make the "Left Room" sauna my last set.
I stayed in for a bit longer, then entered the cold bath, followed by one last trip to the open-air lounge.
The pricing at this facility is time-based, with the cost increasing every hour.
I completed four sets in two hours.
Please note that the time spent changing and checking out is reflected in the total price.
After finishing my sauna session, I was greeted by the sight of the National Stadium against the backdrop of the sunset.

Since it's close to my house, spacious, and clean, I promised myself to visit again.
