【Impressions】
On the middle day of the November holiday, I took the opportunity to visit Kinshicho for a sauna session.
Located in a sauna hotspot, I finally made it to the "Spa & Sauna New Wing," a place I’d been wanting to visit.
At the reception, I received the shoe locker key and chose the 2-hour course.
After paying, I received a wristband and headed to the locker room.
I changed into the facility’s clothes, took a towel, and went to the bath area.
At the entrance, I removed the facility clothes and entered the bath area, first washing my body.
This facility has three saunas and two cold baths.
I started with the "Thermare Kai" sauna at the front.

This sauna allows self-infused löyly (steam pouring).
It’s a silent bathing area, allowing you to immerse yourself in your own world.
Modeled after a snack bar, it had stylish decor with nostalgic background music playing.
There wasn’t a visible clock, so I guessed it was about 10 minutes before I exited.
I cooled off in the smaller cold bath, then headed to the relaxation chairs.
Though there is no outdoor air bath space, there are plenty of chairs in the indoor relaxation area.
Since it was my first time at this facility, I didn’t feel fully "refreshed" after the first round as I was just observing.
The second round was in the "Bona Sauna."

A TV is playing in this room, but the channel cannot be changed.
The temperature and humidity are moderate, with the third tier being especially warm.
After about 10 minutes, I went out and took a dip in the mini-pool cold bath.
I stayed in the deep, wide cold bath for about a minute, then took a break.
I sat for around 10 minutes, with a fan gently drying my body.
There’s drinking water and ice near the sauna, allowing for hydration anytime.
The third round was in the "Karakara Sauna."

True to its name, it’s very dry.
A radio was playing inside.
I exited after about 10 minutes, feeling dried out, and headed to the cold bath, then rested.
I debated which sauna to enter for the last round, and decided on the Bona Sauna.
For the last round, I stayed in for 12 minutes while watching a variety show.
I soaked in the cold bath for about 2 minutes and had a good rest.

I washed up once more and finished four rounds in about 1 hour and 45 minutes.
The powder room had five seats and was spacious.
After changing, I returned the wristband at reception and stepped back out into the night streets of Kinshicho.
For an exceptional sauna experience, the ¥2000 price for two hours was very affordable.
