【Impressions】
After several consecutive cloudy days, it was a sunny and hot Saturday.
I took a bit of a trip aiming for the cooler time of dusk.
About a 10-minute walk from the Mita Line's Hon-Renjuku Station, I arrived at "Itabashi Natural Hot Spring Spadio."

It's been three years since my last visit, but it's still quite a walk from the station.
It's a large spa facility that suddenly appears in a residential area.
When you go up to the second floor by elevator, there's a reception where you pay and exchange your shoe locker key for a wristband.

All payments inside the facility are made using the wristband, so keep it safe.
On this day, I wanted to get rid of the summer grime, so I booked a body scrub.
Going up another set of stairs from the reception, you'll see the curtains for the men's and women's baths.

After changing in a locker with the same number as your wristband, I headed straight to the bathing area.

The room was spacious, but there were only about a dozen customers, so it felt quite empty.
First, I washed my body thoroughly.
I wanted to go into the sauna right away, but I heard it's better to go in after the body scrub, so I decided to soak in the hot water first.
The first one is the Relaxation Bath.
You can massage your lower back, calves, and soles of your feet with water pressure.
Next, I went to the large bath.
It's a brown natural hot spring, and it's lukewarm, so I could take a long bath.
After warming up quite a bit, I went to the open-air area.
There's a spacious open-air bath and a jacuzzi that can accommodate four people, and there were also three benches.
After enjoying the bath for about 30 minutes, it was time for my body scrub.
There's a dedicated room inside the bathing area, so you can move directly after enjoying the bath.
I had a 30-minute session, and they thoroughly cleaned my entire body and even moisturized it.
After the body scrub, I eagerly went to the sauna.
It was just time for the dry sauna's mat to be changed, so I started my first set in the freshly cleaned room.
The room has two levels, and even with some space in between, it can accommodate more than ten people.
There's a TV, and everyone was engrossed in watching a 24-hour TV program.
The thermometer was showing around 95 degrees Celsius, and it was quite hot.
After about 10 minutes, I went out, rinsed off my sweat, and went into the cold bath.
It's a small cold bath that can accommodate three people, but it was around 10 degrees Celsius, so it was easy to enter.
After about a minute, I enjoyed the outdoor air on a bench in the open-air area.
Since it's summer, my whole body dried in less than 10 minutes.
After rehydrating at the water dispenser near the entrance of the bathing area, I went for my second set.
This time, I watched TV for 12 minutes, then went out, spent about 2 minutes in the cold bath, and enjoyed the outdoor air.
The evening breeze felt so good that I think I took a longer break than usual.
After rehydrating again, I went for my third set.
I spent about 12 minutes in the sauna, about 2 minutes in the cold bath, and about 15 minutes enjoying the outdoor air.
Finally, I rinsed my body in the shower and left the bathing area.
I dried my body and hair.

Various amenities are available.
You can return towels and indoor clothing at the exit of the changing room.
I returned my wristband at the reception, settled any additional charges, and then left.

When I went outside, it was already dark.
For a spa facility of a similar size in Tokyo, it was surprisingly uncrowded and comfortable.

I believe it depends on the time and day, but from 17:00 to 20:00 on a Saturday, I could enter the sauna and cold bath without waiting.
There were always available relaxation chairs, so it's a recommended facility for sauna enthusiasts who are bothered by the recent sauna boom.
Perhaps due to its location, the clientele tends to be older, with fewer students, creating a calm atmosphere.
The price is not too high, so considering transportation costs, I think it's a good value facility.

If I had to point out one thing, it would be the access. It's a bit of a concern.
