Visited a hot spring in Tokyo on the last day of the August holidays.
I had always wanted to visit, but since I never had a chance to go to the Sugamo area, I finally made it.
I took a bus from my home to Mejiro Station and had lunch around the station.
From Mejiro, I took the Yamanote Line to Sugamo Station and strolled around the shopping street.
I got tired from walking in the hot and humid weather, so I took a coffee break at Tully's.
After the break, I arrived at Somei Onsen in about 10 minutes on foot.

After putting away my shoes and receiving a wristband at the reception, I headed to the bathhouse.
There are spacious baths both indoors and outdoors, and a large sauna is also available.
The sauna is very spacious, and it seemed like it could fit about 30 people.

The cold bath is not only wide but also deep, and it was excellent as well.
The space for resting after the cold bath had only a few chairs indoors and a few more outdoors, so depending on the timing, there were times when I couldn't find a seat.
On this day, I completed five sets while watching the Koshien tournament broadcast.
Finally, I soaked in the hot spring for a bit and finished the day.

After leaving the bathhouse, completely exhausted, I rehydrated inside the facility while waiting for the shuttle bus to the station.
It was crowded because it was a public holiday, but I plan to come again on a weekday to relax.
The price is reasonable for Tokyo, and it's a very nice facility.
