Great value for money, just a short walk from Otsuka Station, Sauna New Otsuka【S6】

There were three groups waiting at the reception, but I was able to enter after about 5 minutes. The sauna room was full only once during my visit.
【Amenities】
2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner, and body soap are available. When you purchase a sauna ticket, you receive a bath towel and a face towel.
【Impressions】
On a whim, I decided to visit the sauna before dinner on a Saturday.
Even though it was May, it was a humid day, so I rode my bicycle wearing a casual T-shirt and shorts.
When I arrived at the store, about five people were lined up at the reception.
The bathhouse and sauna have separate entrances. The sauna was full, so I had to wait.
After about 5 minutes of sitting, I was called, paid 1000 yen, received a set of towels and indoor clothes, and headed to the second floor.
Upon ascending the stairs, there was a spacious relaxation area, and the locker room was further inside.
Each locker had a hook in front of it, so everyone hung their belongings there.
After changing, I headed to the bath area.
After washing my body, I immediately went to the sauna room.
The room had two tiers and could accommodate about 10 people if packed.
It's an infrared sauna, so the perceived temperature feels higher.
There was no TV, but a large 12-minute clock was right in front of me.
I noticed that there were manga books provided for the sauna room, so you can read while warming up.
After about 10 minutes, I went out, took a shower, and then entered the cold bath.
The cold bath is located next to the entrance of the sauna room. It can fit about 3 people if packed. The temperature felt a bit on the warmer side, but it seemed like you could adjust it by adding water from the faucet.
After the cold bath, I went for an outdoor break.
There was a small space with four relaxation chairs.
Depending on the timing, you might not find a seat.
After the outdoor break, I drank some water available at the entrance of the bath area and went for another sauna set.
That day, I completed three sets, washed my body, and then left.
Hairdryers were available for free, so I fixed my hair.
The relaxation area was spacious, with more than ten reclining chairs and a large TV. It felt like you could spend hours there.
It was my first visit, but considering the location, 1000 yen felt like an excellent value.
I could sense the aging of the facility, but it wasn't so bad that it hindered the use. The amenities and features were well thought out for relaxation.
I didn't often visit Otsuka, but there were more shops than I expected.
That day, I thought about visiting for the sauna in the future and also enjoying a meal.
