【Impressions】
On a sunny day in May, I went to a sauna in Tamachi to relieve the fatigue from DisneySea I enjoyed two days ago and the gym I went to the day before.
Although there was a rare downpour in the morning the day before, it was sunny on this day.
After reading at the Tamachi cafe 'Jaho Coffee' in the afternoon, I headed to the sauna.
I arrived around 15:30.
I put my shoes in the shoebox and handed the key to the reception.
I received a locker key and a towel set and went to the locker room.
After changing, I went to the bathing area.
There were only about five people in the bathing area, which was a relief as I had expected it to be crowded.
After rinsing off in the shower, I took a mat and went to the sauna room. The mat for the sauna is made of tatami.
The sauna room has three tiers and can accommodate over 20 people if packed.
You can do a self-löyly, but it seemed difficult when it's crowded.
Also, I couldn't find a clock inside the sauna room.
I usually stay for about 10 minutes, then go out, take a shower, and then go to the cold bath.
The cold bath is divided into three sections, each with a different temperature, I believe.
After the cold bath, I went to the outdoor area on the second floor.
There were four chairs in a small space for outdoor relaxation.
Depending on the timing, you might not get a seat.
After the outdoor break, I drank some water and went back to the sauna room.
On this day, I did three sets, washed my body, and then left.
By this time, there were over 20 people in the bathing area, and it was crowded.
There's also drinking water at the entrance of the bathing area, so you can hydrate between sets.
After drying off, I dried my hair at the washbasin next to the locker room, changed, and went to pay.
When I paid, I was told that 1 hour and 4 minutes had passed, so I paid 1,750 yen with my Suica card.
When I was paying, more than five people were waiting in line at the reception.
By the way, there's also a luxurious relaxation space.
It just opened on April 29, 2022, and the entire facility was clean.
The facility as a whole was well thought out for relaxation, and I think it's a paradise I'd want to visit regularly if I had the time and money.
