【Impressions】
The day after Gunma Prefecture's Isesaki City recorded 40°C in June for the first time in recorded history, on Sunday, June 26th.
Tokyo also recorded consecutive extremely hot days in June for the first time in its history.
Despite the rainy season not being over, it was oppressively hot, and I had the air conditioner on at home from the morning.
Having binge-watched two seasons of "Sauna Road" on Netflix, I couldn't resist the urge to go to a sauna and ventured out in the scorching heat.
After taking an IT certification exam in Ikebukuro, I headed to the sauna.

A short 5-minute walk from the east exit of Komagome Station on the Yamanote Line, I saw the sign for Rosco.

The entrance was surrounded by lush greenery, providing a sense of relaxation even before entering.

I stored my shoes at the entrance, took the key, and proceeded to the reception.
There were about three people in line at the reception, but it was soon my turn.
I received a wristband in exchange for my shoe locker key, paid the fee after a brief explanation of the facility.
After completing the check-in, I took the elevator to the men's bath area on the third floor with a towel and indoor clothes.

After changing in the locker room, I headed to the bathing area.
At a glance, there were only about five people in the spacious bath area.
At the entrance to the bath area, I borrowed a towel for washing and cleansed my body at the washing area.
The bath area had a regular hot bath, a jacuzzi, and a cold bath, with another jacuzzi in the open-air area.
After soaking in the hot bath for about 5 minutes, I headed to the sauna room.
There were already about ten people inside, but there was still space, and it seemed that it could accommodate about fifteen people.
There were spaces where five people could lie down.
The room's thermometer was indicating close to 110°C, and it was one of the hottest saunas I've been to in a while.
There was also a TV, but it was too hot to watch for long.
I could only endure for 6 minutes during the first set and immediately exited.
The cold bath next to the sauna room is narrow, and only about three people can enter at the same time.
However, the constantly overflowing mineral water was of the highest quality.
Being enveloped in the soft water with a pleasant touch made me want to stay in the cold bath for a longer time.
I didn't bother with the two chairs in the bath area and went straight to the open-air area.
The open-air area had a jacuzzi in the center and three benches, accommodating about eight people to relax.
Although the outside temperature exceeded 30°C, there was shade, and it was comfortable.
For the first and second sets, I followed a routine of 6 minutes in the sauna, 1 minute in the cold bath, and 5 minutes of relaxation.
For the third set, after 6 minutes in the sauna and 1 minute in the cold bath, I skipped the outdoor relaxation and repeated the 6-minute sauna and 1-minute cold bath routine before taking a 10-minute break outdoors.
I finished with a final set of 6 minutes in the sauna, 1 minute in the cold bath, and 10 minutes of relaxation.
During the last set, I was able to watch the start of the Takarazuka Memorial horse race and got excited with the other guests.
There was drinking water available, so I was able to stay hydrated throughout.
After a quick rinse, I dried off and changed.
The changing room was spacious, and there were about three hairdryers, making it comfortable.

I returned the wristband at the reception and left.
It was still hot outside, and I was craving hydration and vitamins, so I bought Pocari Sweat and Oronamin C from a convenience store and made a mix of the two, which I call "Oropo."

I sipped on "Oropo" to beat the heat on my way home.
I wonder which sauna I should visit next week...
