Heading South from Nuremberg to Munich in Germany【13】
Day 4 in Germany【2015/3/3】
Explored around the station area.
Climbed a small hill to reach Nuremberg Castle. (Strangely, there were no photos of the castle)
From the castle, we could overlook the cityscape of Nuremberg. It was a cloudy day with a gloomy sky.
It's unique to Europe to have churches suddenly appear in the middle of the city.
"St.Lorenz Church"
Returning to the station, we headed to the next city, "Munich".
Upon arriving at Munich station, we dropped our luggage at the hotel and began sightseeing.
"Frauenkirche"
"New Town Hall"
At the insistence of friend A, we went to a tourist spot called "Residenz". However, upon arrival, we realized we had missed the closing time by about 10 minutes.
After a good amount of exploration, we returned to the hotel early on this day.
We had traveled from Dusseldorf to Munich, moving from the northern to the southern part of Germany. What we noticed was that the further south we went, the worse the security seemed to get.
In Dusseldorf, even after 10 pm, we hardly felt any danger walking outside.
The streets of Munich, once dark, clearly had a menacing atmosphere. Even during the day, there were many shady individuals around.
