Day 12【2014/9/4】
Shimane → Yamaguchi → Fukuoka
Dorothy
It was my first time at a manga cafe, but I liked it as it was spacious and had a wide variety of drinks at the drink bar. There was also a karaoke room.
Departed Matsue Station at 6 am, heading to Kyushu.
Suddenly on a train for over 200 minutes, and arrived at Masuda Station. While waiting for the train at the station, it started raining heavily. Thinking back, it hardly rained during this trip. Maybe I'm a sunny guy.
The rain stopped when I arrived at Yamaguchi Station.
I also stopped at Shin-Yamaguchi Station for a transfer. There was nothing around both stations.
The next stop was Shimonoseki Station.
The quaint area around the station had a shopping mall and large buildings.
The view of the sea, port, and town from the station was impressive.
Crossing the sea and arriving at Kokura Station, it's my first time in Kyushu.
Transferred at Kokura and headed to Hakata Station. It's huge...
I might have been tired as there are no photos from here on. Upon reaching the station, I walked to a place where I could see the sea, but it was quite a distance (over an hour round trip). When I returned to the station, I had authentic Tonkotsu Ramen, and stayed overnight at an internet cafe. By the way, it took about 20 minutes one way to walk to the internet cafe.
