Staying at a Guesthouse Owned by a One Piece Fan, Both Nagasaki and Saga Were Hot【32】
Day 13【2014/9/5】
Fukuoka → Saga → Nagasaki → Kumamoto
It was an internet cafe with many private rooms located within a complex facility. There was a drink bar, and light meals such as ice cream and soup were available, making it a satisfying manga cafe.
Walked for 20 minutes to Hakata Station, and headed to Tosu Station.
Bought some fruits at the Family Mart in front of the station. Since it was the time for local students to go to school, I ended up having breakfast at the station while being stared at.
Next, I got off at Saga Station.
It was hot, and I didn't want to walk much from the morning, so I cooled off inside the station.
From Saga Station, I headed north and got off at Nishi-Karatsu Station.
I wanted to see the Genkai Sea, so I walked, but the distance was longer than I thought. I had only a few tens of minutes to stay as there wasn't much time until the next train.
Nishi-Karatsu Station is the terminal station, so I took this train to go and return.
Next, I got off at Hizen-Yamaguchi Station and had lunch. There were no notable shops around the station, so I bought bread and rice balls at Lawson.
When I got off at Hayaki Station, the level of heat increased. I felt unusually hot since entering Nagasaki, whether it was just for that day.
Even the locals were cooling off in the station's waiting area.
Isahaya Station was also hot. I cooled off at a nearby supermarket.
From Tosu Station during the second twilight of the day, the Sagan Tosu soccer stadium was just nearby.
Transferred at Omuta, and arrived at Kumamoto Station. There were tram tracks in front of the station, and the station was filled with Kumamon goods, giving a full Kumamoto vibe.
It was late at night, so after having dinner, I headed to the guesthouse where I would stay.
It was a 15-minute walk from Kami-Kumamoto Station to the guesthouse, which was run by a One Piece-loving owner. That day, besides me, there were three other guests. We had a light conversation before going to bed. There were two male riders and one female cyclist, they were having a drinking party, but since I had to wake up early the next day, I went to bed earlier.
