I might have been traveling around Japan just for this moment ~The sunset I saw at Shimanto Station~【36】

The manga cafe was on the 5th floor of this building.

The area around Kochi Station was very quiet after 6 in the morning. I didn't notice last night, but there was a statue of a Tosa clansman.

I bought bread and rice balls at Lawson and ate them on the train as we departed.

We stopped at Susaki Station and got off at Kubokawa for a transfer.

From here, a long journey on a one-man train begins.

We stop at all the stations along the way. There were breaks, but there was nothing around the stations.

And so, we arrived at Uwajima Station.

Since entering Shikoku, there were no coin laundries around the stations, and I had been staying at manga cafes, so I hadn't been able to do laundry. Therefore, I bought some underwear at a local supermarket.

Since there was time before the next train, I used the space in the parking lot to dry my clothes and shoes. It dried quickly because it was hot, but I was concerned about the eyes of those around me.

The train I boarded in Uwajima became empty midway, so I also dried my T-shirt inside the train. Lol

It's late, but seeing the letters JR Shikoku, I realized again that I am in Shikoku.

As the beautiful sea spreads out from the train window, the destination is near.

Shimanto Station is famous for being near the sea. I had always wanted to visit. It's one of the few destinations on this trip.

There's nothing much around the station except for vending machines.

I enjoyed the scenery and the air while lying down at the station until dusk.

There were about 10 other tourists besides me. I also saw a few passengers getting on and off.

I was mesmerized for a few minutes before the sun set.

I left Shimanto, which I stayed at much longer than planned, and headed to Matsuyama Station.

I stayed overnight at an internet cafe in front of Matsuyama Station on this day.

Now, this journey, which has taken me from Eastern Japan to Mount Fuji to Western Japan, will end tomorrow.
