Overlooking Bangkok, indeed, the Pad Thai was delicious【8】
Day 5 in Bangkok【2018/1/4】
Ignoring the cafe menu, I bought breakfast at Seven Eleven again this morning.
・Croissant ・Honey Butter Toast ・Chocolate Milk
They all tasted as expected.
First, I headed to,
"Baiyoke Tower 2"
Got lost inside the building. (It's quite nerve-wracking to get lost overseas)
You can get a massage with a ticket to the observation deck in this tower. You can choose the order.
I went to the observation deck after the massage.
There's a drink service after the massage.
The top floor is movable, and you can overlook the city of Bangkok. The view from the tower is...
Got slightly lost again on the way back from the tower to the station lol
Left the tower and went back to Siam, where I visited last night.
To see the daytime face of Bangkok's Shibuya.
Had a break at Starbucks as soon as I arrived.
With nothing particular to do, I went to Nana by subway, and from there walked to Asok → Phrom Phong.
It's a Thai McDonald's.
Headed to,
"JJ Green"
There were turtles and squirrels in this park. Cute!
JJ Green is a night market where stalls and eateries line up in the parking lot. It seemed like there were many local young people.
The tapioca tea (taro flavor) was super delicious.
After looking around, I headed to the next night market,
"Huai Khan Night Market"
Was too tired to take many photos.
On the way back, I strolled through Asok → Nana again. Discovered Dinosaur Planet (now closed) along the way.
Arriving at Phloen Chit station, I had dinner at a Thai restaurant in front of the station. Cheers to the last night in Bangkok.
・Chang Beer ・Pad Thai ・Som Tum
The beer was lighter than the ones in Japan. Since I'm not good with alcohol, it was just right for me. The Pad Thai had chewier noodles compared to the ones I've had before. It was pretty good. The Som Tum here was not good lol. The vegetables in front seemed raw?
After dinner, I bought Yakult and chocolate ice cream at a convenience store, and headed to the guesthouse while eating them.
Bought the usual bread in front of the guesthouse, marking the end of the last night of this trip.
